Last week, the ethics committee approved the start of the First-in-Human investigation at the UMC Utrecht (the Netherlands). In this investigation, the WEAKID device will be tested by peritoneal dialysis patients in actual clinical setting. First tests will be performed at UMC Utrecht and later on, additional tests will be performed at the University Hospital of Modena (Italy) and La Paz University Hospital (Madrid, Spain).
